Security Officer Full-Time Access Control / Patrol
Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Verification in Cranberry Twp, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Communicate professionally with site contacts, employees, and emergency responders while supporting daily operations and following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
