As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Richfield, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct individuals to designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including access points, parking areas, trailer yards, and the business perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report security-related conditions, policy violations, damaged access equipment, and unusual activity to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
