About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Control in Florence, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
