Security Officer Full Time Access Control

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Johnson City, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access processes, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and manage access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and document incidents, observations, and access-related events in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.

Pay and schedule

Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
