About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location in Keasbey, NJ. You will manage access points, screen personnel and visitors, monitor entry activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Deliver exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with team members and site personnel. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, delivery appointments, and visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit points, document access activity, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
