About the role

As a Security Officer FT Unarmed Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic tech and telecommunications location.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and other security-related policies at a technology and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor management processes in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal standards.
  • Support emergency response activities, including following post orders, communicating clearly with occupants and/or first responders, and helping with orderly coordination during incidents or site disruptions.

Requirements

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
  • Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

  • Alarm panel experience.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Access control and/or badge experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of security policies and procedures.
