Security Officer FT Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer FT Unarmed Patrol in Henderson, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant activity according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and/or drivers, and report unusual behavior, damaged property, or policy violations to site contacts.
• Support cargo and facility operations by observing movement around shipping and receiving areas, maintaining awareness of restricted locations, and communicating security-related concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
