Security Officer Unarmed Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location, including lobbies, offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access to the location and report unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or maintenance concerns that could impact daily operations.
• Support closing and opening routines, assist with visitor and employee inquiries, and help to deter unauthorized access through visible presence and consistent patrol activity.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must have a guard card and/or license (preferred).
• Must have customer service experience (preferred).
