Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and communicate with local management regarding security-related concerns and/or policy violations.
• Support asset protection efforts by documenting incidents, assisting with crowd and line management, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
