What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, assist with access control practices, and support a professional atmosphere for guests and staff during routine operations and special events.
• Communicate with hotel personnel, vendors, and/or public responders as needed to support incident response, visitor assistance, and day-to-day security-related operations.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
