About the role
As a Flex Access Control and Patrol Security Officer in New Holland, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with the public and using technology to support daily tasks. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors by providing top-notch customer service and clear communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at your assigned site/s.
- Monitor access points to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the site premises.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and its perimeter to help deter suspicious activity and identify potential issues.
- Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
- Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behavior.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using computer or tablet.
- Access Control / Badge Experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- For driving positions, a valid driver’s license will be required.

$19 / hour
Schedule
Flex* - Part Time. Must be available to work ALL SHIFTS AND ALL DAYS OF THE WEEK. Required to cover special projects, call offs, vacations, and open shifts.
