That’s why we created the Security Officer Flex - Part Time position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader. This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at your assigned site/s.
- Monitor access points to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the site premises.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and its perimeter to help deter suspicious activity and identify potential issues.
- Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
- Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behavior.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable security experience or the equivalent.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Customer service experience.
- Must be available to work all shifts and all days of the week.
- Required to cover for special projects, call-offs, vacations, and open shifts.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay
$17.50 / Hour
