Security Officer Flex Full Time

As a Security Officer - Flex Access Control and Patrol in Hershey, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at your assigned site/s.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the site premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential issues.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behavior.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control / Badge experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $18.52 / Hour

Schedule

Job Schedule: *Must be available to work ALL SHIFTS AND ALL DAYS OF THE WEEK**Required to cover for special projects, call offs, vacations and open shifts*
