Flex Security Officer Full time & Part Time

Responsibilities
- Report alarms in accordance with client requirements, and monitor cameras.
- Greet vendors, customers, residents, client employees, client, and aid as needed.
- Conduct internal patrol and/or external mobile patrol when needed to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
- Maintain an atmosphere where all customers, client employees, site visitors, client, and management know their needs are being met.
- Present a good image to client, public, and management.
- Operate in a calm manner and direct persons who cause disruption to leave property.
- Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; set up barriers and signage, and provide direction or information to others.
- Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client, Company Management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.
- Absorb and adhere to 15-minute and lunch breaks.
- Work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.
- Provide high-quality customer service in-person, via radio, and over the telephone.
- Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
- Willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
- Appropriate I9 Identifications.
- Willingness to travel 25-30 miles to and from work.
- Able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
- Understands the nature of customer service and interactions with the public.
- Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices, and ability to report alarms via telephone.
- Able to interact with and greet site visitors, residents, customers, client employees, or client in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Able to adhere to 15 minute and lunch breaks.
- Able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.
- Able to remain organized and professional.
- Able to learn and adhere to security operations.
- Able to provide high quality customer service in-person, via radio, and over the telephone.
- Able to obtain Colorado Springs Guard Card license and maintain it every year.
- Able to attend in-person interview, and in-person orientation in Colorado Springs if hired.
- Security, military, or law enforcement experience a plus!
Qualifications
- Basic requirements include 18 years of age or older, High School Diploma or GED, great attention to detail, and ability to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

$19.50/hr
