Security Officer Field Patrol

As a Security Officer Field Patrol in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a leading healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and deliveries, following site protocols for entry, escort requirements, and restricted areas.
- Support workplace operations by reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and policy violations, and by assisting with directions, information, and other security-related customer service needs.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of security procedures and site-specific policies.
