Security Officer Entry Warehouse

About the Role

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking lots, building interiors, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions
• Monitor entrances, exits, and delivery traffic to help support authorized access, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations
• Assist with observing package handling areas, staging zones, and high-traffic operational spaces to help identify security-related risks, report concerns, and/or support site protocols

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience
• At least 21 years of age
• Guard card is required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Must be able to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour
• Schedule: Daytime, Monday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Tuesday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Saturday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sunday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
