About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and sharing updates with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and adherence to site protocols for a professional business environment.
• Assist with alarms, disturbances, medical events, and other routine or unexpected situations by following post instructions and communicating with local responders and/or designated personnel as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform patrol duties, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Knowledge of security procedures and site-specific policies.
