Security Patrol Officer - Warehouse

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and delivery activity, and follow site protocols for entry, exit, and credential issues while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, noting maintenance or security-related concerns, and sharing relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.

Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Security-related experience.
