Security Officer Patrol Warehouse

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol in NASHVILLE, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using computer or tablet systems as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at a food production and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor entry procedures, and documenting arrivals, departures, and unusual activity
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific notification and escalation procedures
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, access-control activities, and security-related observations

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Preferred skills

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Access control and badge experience is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred

Pay & schedule

• Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
• Position Type: Full Time
• Schedule: Monday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Tuesday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Sunday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
