Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in South Las Vegas, near South St Rose Parkway, NV, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct guests, vendors, and employees as needed.
- Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.
Requirements
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Monday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
