Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Tucson, AZ, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and assist with traffic and delivery procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining professional interactions with all site personnel.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.03 / hour

Schedule

• Monday: 06:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tuesday: 06:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wednesday: 06:00 AM - 11:30 AM
