Security Officer Entry Screener

About the role

As a Security Officer Entry Screener in Piscataway, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Screener, where you will monitor access points, screen visitors and/or staff, and help support a professional location through visible presence and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, screen people and/or belongings as required by location procedures, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post instructions and Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
