Security Officer Entry Credential Agent

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and support security-related procedures for people, vehicles, and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, loading zones, and operational spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, trailer yards, dock areas, and perimeter, noting conditions that may require attention and supporting established post orders.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

Customer service skills, ability to follow procedures, and strong communication skills are essential.
