Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security-related policies for a manufacturing location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or designated access points to help confirm authorized access, report unusual activity, and respond to access-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity, review badges and/or credentials, and communicate with site contacts regarding approvals, restrictions, and security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations according to post orders, including notifying appropriate personnel and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building perimeters and access points, to help identify maintenance concerns, unauthorized presence, and other unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
