Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a food and beverage environment.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, entrances, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or delivery activity, and support site rules related to employee, contractor, and vehicle entry.
- Observe surroundings and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, spills, and/or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel in line with site protocols.
Minimum Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
