As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Response in York, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail café location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the café, surrounding retail areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and visitor activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application (proof of age may be required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
