Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Xray

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a cruise operations location.
• Screen passengers, visitors, crew members, and/or personal property using approved equipment and inspection procedures to help identify prohibited items and/or unauthorized access concerns.
• Monitor access points such as terminal entry areas, gangways, and/or restricted zones, checking credentials and directing individuals according to post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or screening exceptions in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership when appropriate.
• Complete required logs, reports, and/or screening documentation while maintaining professional interactions with guests, employees, and vendors.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• For driving positions only, a valid driver’s license will be required.

Qualifications
