Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site protocols, reporting concerns and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and communicating professionally with staff, guests, and/or vendors.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
