DayTime Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas to help control access, provide directions, and support a professional environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Aid with routine security-related duties such as checking doors, observing cameras and/or alarm activity when assigned, and following post orders for after-hours access, deliveries, and visitor-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
