That’s why we created the Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader. As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Lobby Host in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.06 / Hour
Job Schedule: DayTime, Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor access to the lobby and reception area by verifying visitor information, issuing badges or credentials, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Answer phones, greet guests, and support front desk operations with professionalism while helping to deter unauthorized access and maintaining awareness of security-related concerns within the location.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly, including visitor records, access activity, and other security-related observations relevant to a financial services location.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 6 months or more of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, and/or a corrections academy certificate.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
