Job Summary
Ticket Lobby Hosts greet guests entering the Ruby Falls Ticketing Atrium, provide information about tickets, and assist with various tasks such as refunds, questions, and complaints.
Responsibilities
- Aid customers with ticket purchases, refunds, questions, and complaints.
- Maintain smooth operation of the ticketing desk and other areas.
- Offer excellent customer service following the Give 'Em the Pickle standards.
- Check-in groups and adhere to cashiering procedures.
- Anounce and load tours, monitor tours in the cave, and provide leadership to front line staff.
- Work shifts as needed, including driving the 15-passenger van and serving as a tour guide.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to lift, grab, press, and push to perform essential duties.
- Lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Bend, reach, and stoop.
Educational And Other Requirements
- Available to work weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings.
- Background check required.
- Must be able to count, add, subtract, give accurate change, and organize all monies.
- Previous front desk or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read, interpret, and respond to necessary documents.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to input and access data in a computer, perform duties with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and management.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work with a team and solve problems as they arise.
