Allied Universal® is seeking a part‑time Security Officer – Enhanced (Lobby Greeter) in Atlanta, GA. The position offers reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts for extra earnings and experience.

Pay

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Schedule

Daytime shift: Sunday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM.

Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): a designated site and weekly shift for a six‑month period.

Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform, allowing part‑time or full‑time hours as desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following site‑specific procedures, access‑control protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor lobby activity, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Monitor security‑related systems—including cameras, alarms, and communication equipment—and report unusual activity or equipment concerns.
• Maintain a professional front‑desk presence while supporting building operations and helping deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Minimum age: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21 years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
