Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Visitor Services

About the Role

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This position is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $21.93 / Hour
• Schedule: DayTime Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary access badges, and directing guests in accordance with location procedures.
• Monitor building entry points, lobby activity, alarm notifications, and camera systems as assigned, promptly reporting unusual activity or access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, courteous, problem-solving manner while following established escalation protocols.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and other required documentation, communicate clearly with building management and Allied Universal leadership, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent front-desk screening practices.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
