About the role

As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol Duty in Waipahu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property, including parking areas, access points, common areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity and help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and/or suspicious behavior through visible presence and routine observation.
  • Support day-to-day operations at the location by communicating clearly with tenants and staff, following post orders, and completing required reports related to security-related events and site conditions.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
