Security Officer Driving Role Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will drive through assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail mall location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, corridors, entry points, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unsecured access points, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Support mall operations by assisting with guest inquiries, providing directions, documenting incidents, and helping to address security-related concerns involving stores, deliveries, and/or public areas.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
