Job Description
As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness with strong customer service and communication.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to post orders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter boundaries to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance issues.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support the control of restricted areas in alignment with site policies and security-related procedures.
- Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy questions, and changing conditions that may impact daily operations.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
