Job Description

As a Security Officer Driving Patrol Unit in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized presence at offices, facilities, and/or restricted areas.
• Support daily operations by communicating with employees, visitors, contractors, and/or first responders, following post orders, and completing required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
