As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Unit in Gloucester, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions in accordance with site protocols, and report concerns related to restricted areas, visitor activity, and/or after-hours access.
• Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of site-specific expectations, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Skills

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Schedule

Full Time. Day Time: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM.

$24.50 / Hour
