Security Officer Driver Patrol Unit

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with location policies.
• Observe equipment, gates, doors, fencing, and other assigned areas for potential hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations, and communicate findings to the appropriate contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
