Security Officer Driver Patrol Unit

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic tech and media location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site policy, and report access concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to appropriate contacts.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and communicating professionally with staff, guests, and/or first responders as needed.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
