About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position supports a welcoming, secure environment while helping to deter security-related incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and building personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial real estate common areas, access points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Assist with directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries to appropriate locations while supporting a professional and welcoming building environment.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

- Saturday: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
- Sunday: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
