Security Officer Patrol Driving
About the role
Join Allied Universal as a Residential Patrol Officer, where you will conduct routine patrols throughout an apartment community, including a primarily driving post, while remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property-related issues.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and report maintenance concerns, disturbances, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Support property staff during routine operations, amenity checks, move-in or move-out activity, and after-hours situations while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
