About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Visitor Checkpoint in Monroe, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, identification checks, and other security-related policies at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or sensitive areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, equipment concerns, and other security-related issues.
• Document daily activities, access events, and incident details in required reports, and report policy violations, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance concerns through proper channels.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
