About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Security Patrol in Highland Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support a professional environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify visitor access as directed; and assist with directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
