- Position Type: Part Time
- Pay Rate: $18.96 / Hour
- Day Time: Tuesday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Wednesday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Sunday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity while following post orders, reporting protocols, and badge or credential procedures appropriate to the location.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or maintenance concerns in a timely manner and report them through established site and Allied Universal procedures.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
