About the role
As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Property Observation in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Utilities. This part-time, unarmed patrol role at a utilities location requires routine patrols, incident response, and strong customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident documentation.
- Report hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$17.00 / hour

- Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
