About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Observation in Grandville, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and tenants. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately; communicate relevant information with site management, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$17.00 / Hour

  • Thursday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
  • Friday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
  • Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
  • Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
