About the role

As an Armed Driver Patrol Observation Security Officer in Camden, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$20.36 per hour.
