Security Officer Patrol Property Observation

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a premier luxury retail location in Miami, FL, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for clients, guests, and team members. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, guests, and retail staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the luxury retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential policy violations, and hazards, helping to deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior through a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.00 / hour

• Thursday: 11:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Friday: 11:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 AM - 08:00 PM
