About the role
As a Security Officer Driver Incident Response in Foster City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, agile approach while helping create a welcoming experience for staff, patients, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare and life sciences location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
